In 1932, my grandfather, Philip Farran, and his sons began renovating brownstone buildings in New York City. With hard work and intelligent solutions, the business quickly became successful and expanded into interior design and space planning, ultimately focusing on kitchen renovation.

In 1956 Nuway Kitchen Showrooms was formed, becoming one of America’s largest dealers of KraftMaid, Ultracraft, Medallion and Plain & Fancy cabinetry. Renamed NuKitchens in 2008, the company has developed into a leading full-service kitchen design and remodeling firm located in historic South Norwalk, CT.
